I’ve always been, first and foremost, a storyteller. As a child I would tell my stories using dolls, getting older that would evolve into imagining stories in my head as I messed around with free dress up games, I wouldn’t discover writing until middle school, and even past then I wouldn’t discover how art can be used to create stories until my senior year of high school. Now art is how I tell my stories, through comics, through illustrations. I might be an artist now, but at the end of the day, I am first and foremost, a storyteller.

I am currently a Junior attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, working on getting a bachelor’s degree in Illustration with a minor in Creative Writing.

I want to create stories that will inspire others, where people will look at the world and the characters within it, and realize just how powerful and wonderful storytelling can be. If I can inspire one person to create, I would consider myself successful.
